Happy New Year to all! I pray for you to have all the joy, happiness, richness (not only money wise) and most of all the health!
I learned something Sunday morning in one of the teachings I took that I just needed to share and let the word out. They explained that in the last 10 years, the most common New Year’s Resolution was TO LOSE WEIGHT. But this year was very different. This year’s most common resolution was: TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON!
OMG that was the best thing I heard for a long long time. WHY you may think….well with this world tumbling, people suffering in different parts of the world from different things from wars, to no food, to homes crushed, to weather, just destroying different cities, etc….to the other side of the world people’s suffering of worry, stress, financial, anger, etc…
Just to tell you I learned about this year’s most common resolution which is TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON came from one of my bible teaching.
We all want to have a fruitful life, we all need to discipline ourselves, this is all about an act of protection to become a better person and actually having a better life. We all want to be in the right path, take the right decisions, learn from our mistakes…we just don’t all know how to. This is part of all growing up , being aligned with, staying in path with, and we need to learn to accept it.
You can start your journey and living in the contentment to live a good life. I have learned when I took the decision myself, in the hardest and lowest moment in my life, that it is time to get out of my trail and I allowed him to help me live life in the fullest Jesus wants me to. I decided to stop taking short cuts and start taking better roads which will lead to becoming a better person. I had to sacrifice things and people in life that I had in my life, which was REALLY REALLY hard…to be able to do what I needed to do to becoming a better person like God wants me to do.
It is never too late to start…You just have to take the decision that it is your time now to take a different direction in your life and be saved. It’s never too late to take a better trail or path in your life. You just have to decide that. Pray and ask God to help you, and if you are willing to do what He wants you to, He will help you. It starts with you taking that decision of wanting to become a better person starting today.
In business it’s the same thing…. if we want to make business decisions on our own, they may not always be fruitful like we want it to. If we want a new business partner, if we want to take financial decisions, or start a new business, we cannot do it on our own. We need God’s help to see if this is what he wants for us. If we look at it alone, we may look at it as “is this what I can make the most money out of” or “I want to be a millionaire by the end of the year” or “how do I get rich now and fast” etc… this goes on in the mind of many individuals…I know…I meet them and I was there many years ago… It is normal that we want it all right away. But if life was perfect, which it never will be, what would be the fun part to life. It would be boring…why? Because then we have nothing to work on everyday. If we were perfect, what mistakes would we learn from? How can we help someone better themselves or their business? Why would God help us if we would be perfect? Exactly… God is there to help those who want Him to help by asking Him and giving our life to Jesus Christ and knowing that He has a better plan than we expect to have.
Some people may be reading this and saying… “Nancy Baki is crazy”… or maybe thinking “God is not for me”… I actually hope not…but I know there are some that will…. I accept it only because not everyone will REALLY WANT to become a better person…Not everyone will want to take those hard steps to become a better person by changing their daily habits, by changing who they hang out with, by creating new and better habits that will only bring them a more fruitful life. It is all in the person’s hands to choose who they hang out with and what they learn everyday. You have 2 ways to go…the right and the left…the good and the disappointing….
Actually like the bible says…the ones that suffer most in life are the ones that get saved and will go to heaven…. why? Because they don’t have it easy in life…and when they are in their lowest point, only then will they say that it’s time for some big changes and that they want to become a better person.
Always keep in mind… asking God into your life takes a decision and takes only a minute… it’s the life after that moment that will be your process. We need to do all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we must do all in His name and we must feel the Holy Spirit being us through the right process. We have to grow a spiritual growth process with God.
In Mathew 21:21-22 it clearly says:
“Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”
I recommend… try it…if you do not understand, don’t try to understand it by yourself, find someone who knows Jesus, and is willing to show you that He is the only way for you to become a better person and live a life that you’ve always dreamed of, and continue serving the Lord Jesus Christ to serve others, continue passing His name and good nature…
I am not shy to tell you what I think about Jesus’s magnificent works in me, but I had to make the decision to want it so bad…now that I did many years ago, yes there are trials and storms…but with the right people around me, prayer belief and faith in Jesus Christ, i learned it was the only way.
Keep in mind…when we are in the lowest moment of our life, when our spirit is lower than normal, never quit….your emptiness inside is just telling you that you want to be fulfilled. Don’t quit, admit that you have done wrong, and you are a sinner and you need a Savior and you will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Your relationship with Jesus will change everything in your life. God will open your eyes, heart and soul to change your life forever and live a journey that will be experience the grace and mercy of God.
I pray for each and every one of you to get to know how to live your life to the fullest with Jesus in your life. Don’t give up when you are in difficulties and in obstacles you are in. Decide to obey to learn the wisdom that He wants you to learn. If you want your life to be fruitful and content, stop wasting your time being alone. Don’t get discouraged because you can make a difference more than you’ll ever know.
Allow and let Jesus anchor your soul. Life will get better, I promise you that if you have God’s perfect eternal ways in your hands, you will have His promise, you are anchored to His rocks, no matter what fire or winds that comes at you, no matter what you will be in a good place. Treasure yourself in the Word of God and do not forget His teachings, your guide to your life. You’ll have a co-pilot to help you save time, accomplish your goals, no matter what obstacles are in your way and will put you in a good placed, as long as it is all in the principles He wants. Trust His path. Step 1: Trust in the Lord.
Proverbs 3: 1-12
Wisdom Bestows Well-Being
1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity.
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.
9 Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the first fruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.
